A comprehensive platform for planning and managing industrial visits with extensive customer service features.
Organising an industrial visit for a college group means getting the same information to a lot of students at once: where the trip goes, what it covers, and how to put your name down. This is that information as a site, aimed at both the staff running the visit and the students signing up for it.
It is deliberately plain construction. Hand-written HTML and CSS with no framework and no build step, so it deploys as files straight onto GitHub Pages and will still work in five years. The JavaScript comes to about thirty lines in total: a header that pins itself once the page scrolls, and a hamburger menu that opens the navigation on small screens and closes itself again on scroll. Registration has its own page and stylesheet, kept separate from the main site.
